Education
BS in Engineering Management (Eng. Mgt.) with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering in 1985, and a MS in Eng. Mgt. in 1987 at Missouri University of Science and Technology. He continued his education at St. Louis University by obtaining an MBA in 1991, and completing his PhD. in Eng. Mgt. at Missouri University of Science and Technology in 1998.

Academic Activity
John teaches evening graduate classes at Missouri University of Science and Technology and Washington University. John teaches classes in the areas of Strategic Management, Technology, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, Taguchi, and Total Quality Management. He also has areas of interest in, Program Management, Leadership, Production, Supportability/Logistics and International Business. John has also instructed courses at the Boeing Leadership Center in St. Louis.

Industry Experience
John has worked in a variety of positions of increase responsibility at Boeing since 1988, supporting areas such as: Product Support, Engineering, Quality, Supplier Management and Program Management. In these positions, he has worked with numerous programs and customers. John’s most recent assignment is the Program Manager for the Japan 767 Tanker Program. Previously John was the Program Manager for the United Arab Emirates 767 Tanker program, and assigned to the President of Military Aerospace Support working process improvements, strategic plans, integration activities, and performance improvements. John has conducted numerous improvement activities to help reduce cycle time, improve quality and reduce cost.

Leisure
He spends his weekends having fun with his family, fishing, reading, and enjoying the outdoors.
